Bridging the Digital Divide: TutrMePrep and SARI Join Forces

TutrMePrep is proud to announce its partnership with the nonprofit organization SARI. Together, we aim to reduce the digital divide between Afghan refugees and U.S. children by providing them with computers. This initiative will help Afghan families adjust to life in the United States.

Empowering Afghan Refugees

Ishmeet Singh, our founder, will lead a special class on how to use these computers. His goal is to equip refugees with the skills they need to navigate their new environment. This class will cover basic computer operations(email and translate), essential software, and online resources. This initiative will also equip every participant with a new device to practice their digital skills.

By teaching these skills, we hope to give Afghan families the confidence to use technology in their daily lives. This can help them connect with their communities, find job opportunities, and support their children's education.

The class will include the following topics:

• Basic computer operations
• Introduction to english assisting software
• How to use online resources

These sessions will be hands-on, allowing participants to practice what they learn. Ishmeet will provide personalized guidance to ensure everyone feels comfortable with the material.
